Volar

28 August 2026·Product and engineering·2 min read

Connecting a merchant to a bank in Uzbekistan takes weeks. The application goes back and forth over Telegram, someone drives to an office with documents, a field is filled in wrong and nobody notices until a bank employee opens it, and the developer waits for approval before they can write a line of integration code.

Volar replaces that with one application. Minutes instead of weeks.

The customer is the bank, not the merchant. Volar is the onboarding and integration layer a bank puts in front of the merchants it wants to sign.

What the merchant sees

They fill in an application from their phone in five to ten minutes — only the fields their bank actually requires, not a generic form.

Tax ID, bank account and MFO are validated on the spot. A wrong digit is caught while the merchant is still looking at the screen, not a week later when an employee opens the file.

Then they start integrating immediately. The sandbox does not wait for approval, so writing and testing the integration happens in parallel with the bank's review. When the approval lands, they are already live.

What the bank sees

One screen per application: approve, reject, or send back a specific field with a note. Every step leaves an audit trail, so the record of a decision is in the system rather than scattered across chat threads.

What the merchant gets afterwards

  • One integration for any bank — no reading a separate specification and implementing a separate signature algorithm per bank.
  • Connection through a partner — a merchant with no payment account of their own gets one opened in their name, with the KYC package handled.
  • Product links — a one-time purchase, a file, or a licence key sold from a website or a Telegram chat, with no code at all.
  • Discounts and promo codes — campaigns, first-month pricing, and codes with a usage limit.
  • Reports — transactions, customers and merchant activity in real time.

The decision the whole product rests on

Money never passes through Volar. Funds go straight to the merchant's own account at the payment provider, never onto a Volar balance.

That single constraint is what makes the product viable: no payment licence is required, chargeback liability and fraud risk stay where they belong, and the platform stores no card data, no bank portal passwords, no SMS codes and no e-signature keys. There is nothing there worth stealing.
